Hi, I'm Ryan Siu!

I'm running for Lacey City Council (Position 6) because I want to build a stronger, more resilient community that supports small businesses and protects the most vulnerable in our community.

My Priorities:

Affordable Housing
Skyrocketing housing costs and homelessness require urgent action. Solutions include increasing density, supporting low-income housing, and strengthening partnerships with nonprofits and regional programs to get people the support they need.

Transportation Infrastructure
Traffic congestion hurts families and businesses alike. Priorities include road upgrades, safer pedestrian/bike pathways, and expanding Intercity Transit for better public transportation.

Small Business Development
Helping small businesses thrive is key to keeping Lacey’s budget healthy during uncertain times. I support creative city-wide marketing as well as expanding mixed use zoning so there are new opportunities for business development near residential areas.

Framework of Equity and Sustainability
For each of my campaign priorities: housing, transportation, and small business development, I will be a leader who advocates for equity and sustainability. Those core values are the lens through which decisions must be filtered. I commit to stand up for diversity, equity, and inclusion, to plan for the reality of climate change, and to defend human rights.
